The All Hazards Disaster Response (AHDR) course prepares EMS providers to respond to large-scale incidents and disasters of any type — natural, technological, or human-caused. The training emphasizes adaptability, coordination, and the use of limited resources in chaotic conditions.
Major focus areas include:

  • Disaster scene safety and situational awareness

  • Triage, treatment, and transport in mass casualty incidents

  • Communication and coordination with multi-agency teams

  • Maintaining operational readiness and resilience

AHDR gives prehospital professionals the confidence and structure to provide effective care during any large-scale emergency.
