-
Pediatric Advanced Care Renewal: Comprehensive updates covering pediatric assessment triangles, fluid resuscitation, and emergency dosage calculations.
-

Georgia EMS Continuing Education Requirements
In Georgia, EMS license renewals occur on a 2-year cycle. Georgia requires a total of 40 hours of continuing education for most provider levels. The breakdown specified by the state is:
-
Pediatric Topics: 8 hours
-
Cardiovascular Topics: 4 hours (must include STEMI and Stroke)
-
Trauma Topics: 4 hours
-
General EMS Topics: 24 hours
Additionally, Georgia requires current CPR certification (and ACLS for Paramedics), but the hours spent taking standalone CPR/ACLS courses cannot be counted toward the 40 required CE hours.
